Our agency is founded on four core principles, which we believe are essential in today’s Medicare home health environment:

-
Compliance – Never before has Medicare been more aggressive in its determination to root out all fraud. They have engaged third party auditors and are subjecting all agencies to extensive review. CERTIFIED HOMECARE has taken extraordinary steps to build relationships with representatives of CMS and AHCA, the principal regulatory bodies. We have engaged consultants to establish our protocols and, where possible, obtained CMS & AHCA advanced approval. These efforts help ensure no interruptions in your service and physician confidence in the care provided;
-
Immediacy – In our view, the first 24-48 hours after the patient returns home from the hospital are most critical, not only from a care standpoint, but also in terms of comfort and confidence. All CERTIFIED HOMECARE patients are visited, evaluated and admitted within 24 hours of returning home. Many are admitted the same day, especially if the physician feels it is important. This emphasis on immediacy reinforces patient confidence of being in “good hands”;
-
Sensitivity – Similarly, we recognize the fragile nature of many seniors when returning from a serious procedure. Accordingly, our nurses, therapists and support staff all receive considerable indoctrination and emphasis on the importance of sensitivity, clear communications and rapid response;
-
Personalization – Today, most physicians are coping with excessive patient loads compared to a decade ago. They are seeing two and three times the number of patients, making the quality and dedication of office teams more critical than ever. Accordingly, we understand how important it is that transactions with home health providers be conducted efficiently and amenably. CERTIFIED HOMECARE'S support staff is empowered to tailor our intake and communication protocols to make the job of the physician’s office as smooth as possible.
